On these five days throughout the year, you can visit any of the National Parks, National Monuments, and National Forests without having to pay the entrance fee. So if you live in Maine, Florida, Alaska, California - or somewhere in between - take the opportunity to visit these protected lands in our nation.
When visiting the National Parks, you are able to enjoy the beauty of our county. Leave your daily worries behind and immerse yourself in peaceful nature. Look out the window of your car, go on a hike, sit by a river, or watch interesting wildlife in their natural habitat.
2020 Fee Free Days in the National Parks
You can visit the National Parks for free admission on the following days. Be aware that there are still fees for activities such as camping, boating, transportation, and special tours.
- January 20 - Martin Luther King Jr Day
- April 18 - Start of National Parks Week
- August 25 - National Park Service Birthday
- Seaptember 26 - National Public Lands Day
- November 11 - Veterans Day
